OptOut - Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss
So Makima is… genuinely horrible and she can engage in some really awful and abusive shit, quite frankly. Even before you get to her powers, she’s absolutely about utilizing emotional manipulation and abusive control tactics. In the interest of keeping all play fun and consensual and not triggering anyone, I wanted to offer a standing OOC warning and an opt-out from all such shenanigans.
Makima can, and will, use…
Makima can, and will, use…
- gaslighting
- sexual harassment
- false accusations
- scapegoating
- flying monkeys (using other people to attack and harass you)
- self harm and threats of self harm
- gatekeeping
- encouragement of unhealthy behaviors or the use of recreational substances
- animal harm and threats of animal harm
- love bombing
- bullying/negging
- conditioning
- stalking
- triangulation
- and many many more, honestly.

Anything beyond basic behaving—to-further-her-chosen-narrative or lies, I would contact you about because it would be towards something specific. She’s not really… about just fucking with people to fuck with people. She’s always got a goal and if someone like one of your characters moved up from being side character who should think she’s a generally nice and decent person who was ‘manipulated by the government boo hoo’ to main ‘I actively want to use them or hurt them’ level, I would want to discuss with you anyway.

Nita Callahan
(may change depending on character developments; though, if they are stuck together for an event or suchlike I am open to that possibility.)
Re: Nita Callahan
She doesn't do much of this anymore (she's progressed past a lot of it) but you just let me know when or if you change your mind. Otherwise, I will not tag her and will generally behave should you tag her.
Re: Nita Callahan
Thanks! Will note for the future.
